The Avengers fandom is great. Really great. You guys even tag your shit properly… for the most part. Props to everyone!

But I’ve seen a few things lately that I shouldn’t:

1. Ship bashing - Come on, people.
2. Fan bashing - Sadly, most of this comes from comic fans looking down on movie fans.

This is unacceptable.

Let’s set this straight!

It doesn’t matter whether your first Avengers experience came from:

• the 616 comics
• the Ultimates comics
• the 90s cartoon
• the Ultimate Avengers animated movies
• the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon
• the live action movies

We’re in this together.

It doesn’t matter whether:

• you prefer female Loki, kid Loki, the classic, or Hiddleston only
• you think Tony Stark’s eyes are blue or brown
• you ship everything or nothing
• your Captain America has wings
• your Loki is evil or misunderstood
• your Hawkeye wears a mask
• you see Bucky as dead or as the Winter Soldier
• your Bruce Banner is Bixby, Bana, Norton, Ruffalo, or none of the above

Just like in the Avengers, there’s room for everyone:

So feel the love.

Feel it for all the people who share a passion with you…
